The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity is releasing an RFP for a consultant to revise and update the Guide for Child Care Providers.
This popular, user-friendly Guide was last issued by the City’s Department of Licenses and Inspections in 2006. Since that time there have been a number of policy and procedural changes that impact child care licensing. The City is seeking proposals from contractors who are detail-oriented and possess excellent writing skills to update the Guide. Candidates must have experience successfully meeting deadlines.
Work on this project will begin in early July and must be completed by September 15th, 2017. Proposals are due by June 16th, 2017. Interested applicants may submit questions in writing to Teresa.Dooley@phila.gov through June 13th, 2017. These will be answered on a rolling basis.
